Word does not Prompt to Save Changes on any new documents. The program gives the doc a name and saves it in My Documents.

I have a document that had been typed awhile back. I went to use it again and realized the spelling of a few words were clearly spelled wrong. I uninstalled and reinstalled office 97 still did not correct it I even resaved the doc.

I installed WinXP Pro on a new hard drive & system then installed Office 97. When I try to do a spell check in Outlook Express ver. 6 I get a pop-up error that reads: " An error occured while the spelling was being checked".
