I have the English version of office XP and the Word
cannot check the spelling in Dutch.
When i search for Duch language on dictionary language at
the "Tools"-"Spelling and Grammar" i cannot see the Dutch

I have found some words in my documents which spell check
does not catch. One example is "mortis" which is not in
Webster's dictionary, is not a word in any context, and

The program gives the doc a name and saves it in My

I have a document that had been typed awhile back. I went

May someone suggest, how to create a custom dictionary for Cyrillic? I have
no problem creating the English Custom Dictionary with <txt>. But Cyrillic?
Cyrillic characters in the custom dictionary could be saved in the <doc>
extension, while the regular dictionary uses <txt> ...

I installed WinXP Pro on a new hard drive & system then
installed Office 97. When I try to do a spell check in
Outlook Express ver. 6 I get a pop-up error that reads:
" An error occured while the spelling was being checked".

Suddenly my MS Word spell checker says that the document is checked no matter how absurd the spellin

we had some boffins re do my computer I have lost the file
