Hi, When spellchecking in word 2000, it switches to french occasionally. Does this happen just in temp-plates or does it happen in any word document. Any suggestions?

How do I remove a word from the Main dictionary so that it is flaged by the spell checker? For instance if I want the spell checker not to recognize TBD, which is in the main dictionary, how would I do this? I have tried

I loaded a stedmans 2003 medical spellchecker and it is supposed to automatically correct a misspelled medical word and it doesn't. Stedmans told me it is a setting in Microsoft Word that needs to be changed.
