I have set my spelling in several languages (Englishm
spanish, french, Italian) however when I try to check the
spelling of document in spanish or french the speeller is
using the english dictionary instead and of course it is

I'm using Office XP, Word 2002 and have a 339 page
document and after the edits were done, (1) I went to
spell check and got the following message "There are too
many spelling or grammatical errors...to continue

WE have multiple systems running Windows XP,Office 97 SR-1
and Outlook 2003. On these machines when using Word, if
you type in any word and then select Thesaurus from the
spelling and grammar menu, it give no synonyms. Is there a

Readability stats comes up with zeros as soon as you put
in a page number field.  I work with manuals, page
numbers are a necessity.  I tried removing the page
numbers, running the grammer checker, and then putting

The solutions sugested will not work. It you go through
them you will discover french is not selected and only
english is the only chosen language. I would like to know
how to permenatley disable all Foreign language capability

Please some one tell me how to remove french as a
selection choice. My Word 2000 will change the spell
grammar selection to french. When looking at tools-

seems like at least two spell checker files have
dissappeared:  MSSpell3.dll and mssp232.dll  how do I get
copies of these files.  I tried erasing MS AWord and
reloading - it did not help

Creating a form I find that spell check will not check the
text once the document is locked. Is there a fix?

How can I transfer all of the autotext to a new hard
drive when the drive has to be reformated. Then office
will be installed on the reformated drive.

I use Word within Office XP and all the templates default
to US English.  I want UK English to be the default.  
Changing the default either through Tools/Language setting
or through Start/Programms/Microsoft
