This one has me stumped ...
Word 2003 has been spell checking my files ok until today
when it stopped with the following error:
"Word cannot open the spelling file {file name} for

In Word '97 , when I type a period (.) after the
word "appointment," the period and the word are

providing start and end letters and indicating the
pressence of other letters with the ?.
EG. type 'el???nt', then press shift + F7 would return a

I am using MS Word 2000, some word file, if the size over 1 or 2 Mb, (some
files only over several hundred Kb) almost 99% of cpu time is used by word.
Sometimes, if uncheck the spelling check, cpu time can drop to normal, but
not alway.
