How is it possible that when I check the spelling in a word document, it opens another document that has almost the same name as the first? Which document is being checked? Why did it open the other document? Thanks....

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have 'stedman's plus' medica spellchecker installed for use in Office 2003. The spellchecker is i US English, so it installs into that dictionary, fine. The problem i that documents set in UK English now are spellchecked in US Englis

With Word 2003, it appears that you have to be online in order to pul up the dictionary. Is there a way to download the dictionary so that can use it while working offline? Or can I buy an add-in dictionar that I can use "within" Word as with the current online-onl

I am having trouble with the tools > language > set language > "Do Not Check Spelling or Grammar" box in Word 2003. It just won't stay unchecked. I keep selecting all text, unchecking the box. But, obvious spelling errors remain unchecked in random parts of the text.
