I have word 2000, if login as an admin I can see & use the Dictionary menu
item under language from tools.
But I if login as a normal user (no admin rights), I cant see Dictionary

Hi,
I seem to continually re-set my computer through both
Start/Settings etc and in Word itself to UK English.  Yet
somehow or other it finds its way back to US English.

All of a sudden, I noticed that misspelled words (Word 9.0.6926 SP-3) in
part of my document were not underlined in a portion of my document, but not
all the document.  When I spell check I get a message Can't find
msspell3.dll or mssp32.dll.

I have a word that is clearly mispelled.  Word did not catch it. So i thought
that maybe i had by accident added it to the Custom dictionary in the past. I
checked that out and it is not the case.
I am now wondering . where does Word store its Dictionary of words, is there

I have not seen this issue mentioned anywhere. I use the Danish version of
Word 2002 (on WinXP2SP2) with English and German proofing tools activated.
When I run a grammar check on an English text, the examples of poor style
are given in English ("Catherine was hit by the ball."), ...

For some reason I keep getting the spell check to come up using German
instead of English.  When I go to Tools, Options, Spelling and Grammer under
Proofing Tools there is an option checked for Use German Post-reform rules.
