How do I add a French dictionary, spell-checker, and grammar-checker to my
current Word program?

We are using Windows XP Hoem Edition with Word 2000.  We cannot get word to
check the grammer in a document - the option is grayed out under tools.  I
have read previous discussions and followed several steps to resolve this

When using MS Word 2003 I can not get it to stay on Australian English.
I have tried all the setting in Word. I have gone in to Control Panel --->
Regional Settings ---> Changed everything to Australia.
Yet, when I go to type, it changes back to USA Spelling.

When I create a document my spell check work excellent - when I receive
documents from other people and I am running spell check it keeps asking me
to turn the the spanish, french or german spell check - none of the words in
the documents are in any of these languages.

There used to be a grammar checker named Right Writer, I believe, that
would process Word documents.  It has been several years since I have
heard of it.  Does anyone know if it is still available. Or, failing
that, is there something roughly equivalent?

I have a short .exc file which consists of seven words. Six of them do
show now when I check the spelling (french), the last one refuses to

I am using Office 97, on an XP machine with a limited user account.
Spell checker works fine in Office, but doesn't work in Outlook Express.
I get an "error occured message" but it doesn't tell me what the error is.

Can anyone tell me how to make Word 2003 (and Outlook 2003) stop
listing legitimate repeated words as an error? Such as Walla Walla,
Washington - I have family there and every time I mention Walla Walla
