I have to spell-check a large book written in 2 languages (some 30% to 70%). The problem is, that words in those 2 languages are very intertwined (it's a grammar book), plus they are very often wrong marked, as belonging to the other language.

When I spell check documents I usually get words highlighted in red that Word thinks are wrong, and grammar and other suggestions in green. But for some documents the badly spelt words come up in black and not red. What is the reason?

As a bit of light hearted relief, had a strange symbol on the screen ` I think it was. No help from help. What was going on. Then it *moved*. Insect on screen... And here was I going to buy some special correction fluid for it...

I have all the .lex files for different languages. When I tried installing Portuguese (changing the language setting in word), it asked for a certain dll file. I downloaded the right one from a free-share site (the one I had was a different dll file), but Word still claims it cannot ...

I live in Ashtead which is in Surrey in England. When i type Ashtead in word it automatically corrects the capital A to be lowercase so it reads ashtead.. I dont want it to do this, how do i stop it please. Thanks

I'm using Word 2003 with Canadian English set as my default yet my Auto Correct defaults to English (U.K). ?? Any idea why that is? Also sometimes Outlook 2003 uses English (U.S.) instead of (Canada). Why does Word use different languages when I want only English (Canada)? ...
