Running Word 2003, XP2, HP Pentium 4 Processor Option under Tools > Options > "Check spelling as you type" does not hold when I close Word. Does anyone know how I can get it to hold onto setting after I close Word? Additional information on where the option is, registry,

My mum is getting numbers attached to letters typed in Word. This only occurs intermittently, and then only with certain characters - i think its 't','y' and '-', which then produce something like T6, Y5, that sort of thing. She is unaware of turning on or off any particular ...

I have changed all the options relating to the spell checker and it only ends up picking up some words and phrases as being mispelled but not all. Whenever I intentionally mispell words in the document and perform another spell check, it doesn't pick them up.

I recently installed proofing tools for my native language( lithuanian ). As I undertstand dictionaries, spellers and ec.. for major languages like english are already there. ( english speller for english lang. worked great before install ).
