I am having problems inserting a graphic into a document.  
It will not insert.

What method of inserting graphics takes up the least

I've tested copy/paste and the Edit > Paste Special
options already and have found that Edit > Paste Special

I am trying to use a flowchart and a couple things keep
happening:
1) when I try to add a connector, they are ghosted out and

This used to work fine but something went wrong a few
months ago.
When I insert a picture (.jpg) instead of the picture
showing in my document, I see a box.  If I right click on

Can someone tell me how to place text adjacent to a photo?
I know how to insert a photo from a file but it always ends
up either on top of or below my text.

I am currently using MS Office XP.  Within Word, if I
select Insert, Picture, Clip Art, the Search For window
opens.  After I enter the Search text (i.e. plane), and
then clip Search, several result picture boxes appear.

We've created a document using text boxes (some linked,
some not). When we open the document in XP and 2000
(where we've created and edited) - no problem. When we
open in WIN98 or WIN95 - text boxes are out of place,

I have some large metadata pictures I would like to
capture text from and insert into a word document.
Currently it is parsed up into hundreds of little text
boxes when ungrouped, is there any way to capture the text

Some of the text boxes I have in a drawing canvas will be
changed when I insert a new drawing canvas.  It seems to
be text-box specific and not all text boxes.  
I have checked that the boxes are not linked.

graphic file. I have software that can convert just about
any graphic image from one format to another, but I need
to isolate the text art in order to work with it.
