   I was wondering how do you get rid of that "Drawing box" that comes up
every time you click on a drawing Item? Never had this problem in Word2000.
And what is the point anyway?

Everytime we add a new drawing object and move it to its desired location,
Word 2000 automatically re-position the existing objects to a new location,
which is very annoying.
All we want is for Word 2000 (9.0.2720) to leave the existing objects where

I'm trying to manipulate text in a WP doc full of photos.
Anyone know how I can get upside down text?  I can't
figure out how to flip a textbox but it seems like there
must be a way.

I desperately want to be able to add a metafile, i.e., a file with the
extension .wmf to a Word document. I have tried putting the file in the
subdirectory with all the other Autoshapes, but it does not appear in the
'gallery' of autoshapes - is there some program that deals with ...

 I seem to have set a switch somewhere which stops any
thing within a text box from either showing up on print
preview or printing (text or photos).
For text I've checked its not white on white.

in word, when i scroll down white lines appear across,

have to minimize it then open it again but then when i

Using Word XP, I'm inserting an image using Insert,
Field, INCLUDEPICTURE insert, using the /d option so that
the image is NOT stored with the document. I'm resizing
the image manually, and making it about 7 inches wide.

want to delete the picture, without delecting the text in

Our new company logo appears as a broken graphic object
(box with red "X" in upper left hand corner)when our
administrator e-mails a Word document. I can delete, and
add same JPEG file she has and it looks fine. I can send
