Disappearing footnotes in frames06 Nov 2003 14:07 GMT3
I'm having a problem with footnotes in frames.
The note mark appears in the frame, but the footnote does not appear on the
bottom of the page. More disquietingly, subsequent footnotes in the the
remainder of the text (including those *not* in the frame) also vanish

I have had continual problems putting graphics, tables,
etc. where I want them. I drag them to one place and they
jump to some other place, sometimes off the pages. Captions

I right click on an image (usually from a Google image
search) and save to file.  When I go to insert the
picture into my word document, I get the following error

I'm trying to insert a graphic image of a letterhead at the top and bottom
of the first page of a word doc, and the file size is HUGE -- over 2 megs.
I've tried saving the graphic images in sevaral formats -- png, lower
quality jpg, bmp, gif, etc.  What's strange is that I've gotten ...

I have a user who has a strange Word document.
The document has two images in it both of which are present when the user
opens the document on their network.
If the user e-mails me that document then only one image is present the

I can't get text to wrap around a picture.  I have tried
everything I can think of and the text stops at top of the
picture and begins again at the bottom.  I can't get it to
flow to the side of the picture.  Any suggestions?

before, but I can't find the answer anywhere.  I currently
insert a figure as an "in line" object immediately after

In Word 2003, using the watermark feature to put the word "Draft" on every
page produces the strange effect that the letters "D A T" appear on odd
pages, and "R F" on even ones. Is this a bug? Or are there other
explanations which will let me fix this.

Each time I insert a diagram, AutoLayout is on by default.
Is it possible to change it into off BY DEAFAULT?
