When I try to paste a graphic into a completed document
(page with header and footer, landscape or portrait) the
baseline of the graphics frame appears where the topline
should be - graphic disappearing into space. I have tried

I normally use Word 2000 and it uses Fixxed paths when
you insert an image as link to file e.g.
c:\gmws4s\photo1.jpg. I am now using Word 2002 SP3 and it
use relative paths from where the document it placed e.g.

I have previously copied and pasted from a non-MS program
to Word XP as a picture without any problems. Now, when
doing exactly the same thing, only part of the copied

In word 2003 when doing graphics on the screen when you
scroll down the graphics get off center or has a line
through them.  If you go to print preview they look fine
and they print fine.  It just makes it hard to insert

Here is how I inserted a .bmp file in an MS Word doc.
Insert | Picture | From File: Link to File I browse and
select page1.bmp as my picture.
I save the .doc file.
