legends must be on separate pages. I understand how to set up an illustration
with its legend in a textbox, to position it on a page, and to have text wrap

How do I remove print borders and symbols? I have a semi-transparent border
around my page, and symbols that come up at the end of every line. there are
also dotted borders around all sections of words.

Is it possible to create a different watermark for the 1st page from the
remaining pages?  We're trying for figure out how to use business stationery
- only on the first page of a document.  Any ideas please?  The stationery
now appears as BMP images.

Using Word 2003
I did a "Print Screen" of something off the Internet.  
Specifically, it's an image of an algebraic equation from
an online class I'm taking.  I cropped the image in Paint

The watermark option is grayed out.  when I click on it anyway, I get this
feature disabled because it is not compatible with microsoft word 97.  How do
I turn off that compatiblity check?

the included macro imports and scales a .jpg image and is saved within a
template for multiple users. Unfortunately the scaling is not consistent
across all systems.

I have embedded a company logo in a Word template for the company letterhead.
The logo is a PNG format file of about 80KB.  But Word apparently insists on
saving it as a bitmap, making the resulting file almost a megabyte in size.

I am trying to place text boxes on top of a scanned form but cannot get the
accuracy sufficient. Is there a setting somehere that would allow a more
precise movement of these boxes?

This has been a continious problem for the 12 years I have used various
versions of MS Word.
There is no way to positino a picture, texxt box or object on a single or
multicolumn formatted page and then add another picture, text box or object

How do I use "find/replace" to replace "a7ofhearts" with "a7of (and then a
pic of a heart)? I am using MS Office XP and Word 2002. Thanks.
