I was handed a dot file with an embedded image, the company letterhead
banner. The goal is to shrink the dot file size. Currently as a blank
page and this simple letterhead (logo, company name, tel numbers, all in
grey scale) is just under 200k.

When I paste a photo into word business card template, the template moves and
will not accept the photo. The photo is inside the document, but I cannot
move it inside the card area. When I move the photo, the card cell moves

I have recently installed Windows XP and had to purchase Office XP as Lotus
Smart Suite wouldn't work.
I used to be able to import a text file with a carriage return after every
line and Word Pro would strip out excess carriage returns.

In Word 2000, when I pick the line tool, the pointer turns into a cross-hair,
,like it's supposed to, for about a second, then it reverts back to the
I-beam for entering text.
Anyone know what's going on here?  the OS is XP Pro.

When I create an org chart in Word or Powerpoint with Insert Diagram, the
