When inserting WordArt in a Word doc, how do I get the text in the wordart to
not be outlined?  The only text formatting options for the wordart text are
font, font size, bold, or italic.  What am I missing?

I am using word and excel templates to set up our new business.  But the
colors of the templates provided do not match our logo, so I would like to
change it.  How do you change the color scheme of each template to go along
with your marketing colors?

copying shop that many of  the images need brightening. Should be easy: Word
has two icons-More Brightness, Less Brightness-that are on the tool bar. The

I have Word 2002 and I notice that the connector lines in the auto shapes do
not work the same way as they do in Powerpoint or Excel. Usually if you
connecto 2 rectangles with the connector lines you can move the objects and
the lines will go with them. Is there a fix for this.

i have the oddest problem i have ever encountered.  there is a clip art
embedded somewhere in my document.  it doesn't show on print preview, any of
the on screen views (normal, print, outline) but does print in the middle of
my document (just once), changing pages each time!  ...

In MSWord '03 I make a text box, and I insert a jpg into that text box.  When
I print to my color printers (IBM Info and Lexmark), MSWord will duplicate
and sometimes multiple my jpg's many times inside that text box.  WhenI print

When I click on a picture that was sent to me in a word file, the selection
box appears around it.  Now how do I save it as .jpg or a .gif file?

How can I lock graphics on a read-only word document so that it cannot be
grabbed or copied. Sortof like locking the right-click function on the web.
The graphics I'm using are png's and display poorly in pdf, so I need to keep
