Why would a 77 kb file balloon to 20 MB when a 578 kb jpeg file is inserted? More importantly, what can be done to keep the file, with the image, at a size that can be emailed, preferably under 1 MB?

Created an award certificate in Office/Word 2003, which includes a horizontal line the width of the page (margin to margin.). Don't know how I did it. But now I cannot remove it. It does not show as being selected as a graphic would when you click on it,

I am making my husband some flyers for his business, and I am using a star from the autoshape selection. I was wondering could you add text inside the of the shape. I know you can with the callout selection, but I can't seem to do with the shape from the star and banners ...

I have a customer who is trying to print a barcode from Word 2000. The printer required can only print in black and white, so any incoming color images must be dithered. Usually for barcode printing this is not an issue, but when the customer inserts the barcode image into the Word

I use Office 2003 Pro. I want to insert a reduced-sized picture of another Word document in my current Word document. I have tried insert/object, insert/picture, insert/file, copy:paste special/picture, and copy:paste special/Word doc.

I am working on an envelop, and I want to have a small amount of copy on a 45 degree angle. I can't figure any combination of text or frames than I can combine to get my words on an angle.

I think that the should be temlpates and picture's of Religionthat people who are christian would like to use on papers and what ever else they want to use it on. I think that some of the Templates and Picture's should have things like the Cross or Jesus Christ in them.

Other than embedding an image in MS Word, is there a way to define your color selection by a pantone or hexadec number? Or at least a CMYK value, instead of just RGB?

We have graphics that display just fine with Word 2000 on Windows XP. However, when we open the same file with Word XP (also on Windows XP), the graphics do not display or print. Any ideas about this?

When I place a picture on the page, I can not move it or resize it. I have to go to Format - Picture... - Layout Tab and change 'In-line with text' to any other layout option in order to move/resize picture.

We have graphs which are displayed in IE and generated via an SQL database. They are required to be put into our monthly reports which are produced in Word. If we do a copy / paste or use the clipboard, the data in the graphs is lost.
