Why would a 77 kb file balloon to 20 MB when a 578 kb jpeg file is inserted?  
More importantly, what can be done to keep the file, with the image, at a
size that can be emailed, preferably under 1 MB?

I think that the should be temlpates and picture's of Religionthat people who
are christian would like to use on papers and what ever else they want to use
it on. I think that some of the Templates and Picture's should have things
like the Cross or Jesus Christ in them.

Other than embedding an image in MS Word, is there a way to define your color
selection by a pantone or hexadec number? Or at least a CMYK value, instead
of just RGB?

We have graphics that display just fine with Word 2000 on Windows
XP. However, when we open the same file with Word XP (also on
Windows XP), the graphics do not display or print. Any ideas about this?

When I place a picture on the page, I can not move it or
resize it.  I have to go to Format - Picture... - Layout
Tab and change 'In-line with text' to any other layout
option in order to move/resize picture.

They are required to be put into our monthly reports which are produced in
