I want to write some words in my picture of a road project in Microsoft office
picture manager.  I want to know how I can do it?

I've attempted to scan a picture into a WORD document, but all I've gotten is

i created a logo in illustrator
and i want to bring it into word,
but i want to keep the background of the logo transparent,
and i want to the logo to come out clear and sharp on screen.

I am importing a lot of pictures into Word and have to individually set the
picture size to 9" wide and change each picture to grayscale.  It would be
invaluable for Word to allow me to:
1) change the picture import defaults to the size I want and grayscale so

When I insert a picture I can see the whole picture. If I then scroll it a
lttlie off screen and then back it doesn't refresh (that is I only see part
of the picture). I have a gig of RAM and 100mb free in hard drive. Is there
something in the OPTIONS menu that I screwed up?

I have created invitations to my family in one doc which I have emailed to
myself at work to print in colour. I have customised each of the invitations
with clip art and have lost the clip art in the doc sent as an attachment.

Is there any way to reset the default margins for a text box?   I have a
rather complex drawing canvas and some of the text boxes "overwrite" other
text boxes, so it gets difficult to select the desired box.   I've been
