I would like to see a picture of a thumb or and arm with the thumb shown.

Images don't appear on screen in Print View.  Initially they will in print
preview, but if I change magnification they disappear on that too!  (they
come back if I close the preview window and preview again)  
In Tools/options/view I have Drawings ticked and Picture placeholders

The photos I insert in my documents will frequently not display on the
screen.  There will be blank areas where the photos should be, and they
photos will print in the document, but I cannot always view them on the
screen.  Other times I can view them.  What's going on?

I have a logo in .PNG file format inserted in the header of a Word2000 doc. I
can see the border of the logo on my screen, but no logo. However when I
print the file it prints out fine. Any ideas? I appreciate any help out

Somehow I enabled "linking" of text boxes in a word document. I have read the
help files in Word and it says ...[ use the "unlink" icon to unlink text
