Unable to center text in an Autoshape in Word 2003. The only way I have found to do it is to do it in PowerPoint and then copy into Word or use the Tab key inside the box, which isn't very effective. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I have a strange problem in word 2000, Win XP SP2: Inserting pictures with Insert->picture->From file... works fine. Earlier I have also been able to insert pictures with cut-and-paste directly from Explorer into word, but now it inserts a "package" with the picture name

Is there an easy way to center text vertically in a text box? With a table, one can vertically center text in a cell with the alignment button. With a text box, the only way I have found is to adjust the space before in the format paragraph menu.
