I'm trying to write math problems to be sent to my 7th-grader grandson via
email.  I'm running WinXP-Pro/SP2 and MS Office Pro 2003.  I'd like to find
something more suitable for my purposes without spending the kind of money
it takes to get a professional package, like ...

Am developing a Family History using Word.  Have about 200 pictures, and
about 1.5MB of text.  
Decided the only sane approach was to insert the pitures as "Link Only",
otherwise the file size would get huge.

I work in a word processing department where standard practice for org charts
in Word documents is to create them in PowerPoint and then paste special as a
picture into the Word document. Recently I've noticed that any lines with
arrows on them are increasing noticeably in weight ...

The microsoft office word 2003 supprised me with crashed picture objects
created with in the program by myself. First time the graph with text blocks
was frozen, not edible. The seconde time, the whole picture disappeared,
leaving the message "Error! Objects cannot be created ...

In preparing a process document in Word 2003, I have a picture of a screen
snapshot.  I need to label the items on the screen snapshot  A), B), C), etc.
Text boxes are a possibility but hard to line up with the existing text.  
Any other suggestions?

I'm drawing a diagram using Word in Microsoft Office Pro 2003 on a
WinXP-Pro/SP2 system.  I've got a few lines drawn with the Drawing toolbar.
* I selected a line segment in the diagram and then selected a color using
an icon on main toolbar.

I'm converting files from Wordperfect into Word 2003. No problem with the
files, but the images (which are chemical formulas) don't appear. If I try to
convert the images from the converted document, an erro message displays "you
need CS chemdraw drawing to convert this image". ...

In Word 2003, I create a file with an imported graphic. when I click on Print
preview, the graphic disappears, and only the text elements print. How do I
fix this?

I am trying to set up a standard form but was told to do a template - I'm not
sure how to do this.  Please help soonest!!!

I have a MicroSoft Word document with a "WaterMark."  I need to convert this
"page image" into a .JPG file.  How can this be done?

Using Word 2002
The Default design in Word's Organizational Chart has rounded corners.  How
do I change the corners to square?  Can that be done?  It seems to be locked
in to the Org Chart's designs.

When I have a document with pictures in and scroll through it, the pictures
don't appear, or disapear if they were shown. (If not in initial view, they
are not shown when scrolling down document.  When going back up, ones that
were visible are no-longer, etc)

I am trying to format a group of autoshapes into a circle, for example, a
circle of stars, such as the circle of stars that use to be on the USA flag,
before all the states were added.

I have a loose leaf cookbook with pages (that are lined) that I need to add
recipes to.  Because I am not having any luck guessing how to format the

I am looking for a way to use a .jpg of a signature, to imbed in a Word
document that will allow others to see it but not change/copy it ?
