I have tried using a 'wordart' style which is the style I want but it cant be
edited. As I need to change the colour and add a background colour, wordart

I'm using Word 2002.  I have a 400 (and counting) page document and just
wanting to keep things manageable.  Is it correct to say, as a general
proposition, that graphics formatted as in-line with text are preferrable
than floating?  Seems to me that in-line are more "stable."

I want to make a visual timetable for my child. Does anyone know of a
template or easy way to print clocks and set the hands? Using shapes is

It does not happen on Windows XP with Office 2003.  The problem occurrs on
Windows 2000 with Office 2000 and all of the available updates for each.  
Security updates KB912919 and KB896424 cause this behavior to appear.
Here are the steps to cause the problem to appear:
