graphics/pics actually in file but not showing in preview or not until I hit
enter - going insane!  this has been happening for the past several months.

I need to export pictures within Word 2003 files as standalone graphics.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

I am hoping to figure out how to select and copy all images in a
document using vba.
the images are all inline, and the whole purpose is that they need to
be pasted in as gifs (they are currently linked to the data source).

I'm making a template, how do I ensure that the images do not become

I have tried to Insert a .gif file using Picture/File/Object from the Insert
menu. Often I get the file copied to the Word doc but it does not run (i.e.
no movement).

save as option does not respond i can only save a new document to desktop.  i

We are now missing some math operators in XP that were available in the
symbols menu of earlier versions of Word.  The three dots in a triangle for
