I were really eager to have a look at the Beta 2007 and I am very
disappointed. Small features I miss now longer than a decade have not done

how do i insert a tick box in a word document?

Greetings.  I have many scanned images that I have been inserted into a long
MS Word 2003 file, but these images have dark margins (from a book sloppily
xeroxed) have to be cropped.  If I use the standard cropping tool that comes
with MS Word 2003, it takes a relatively long time ...

I love the new picture toolbar including many picture effects, and preset
picture styles to really enhances images. When I make a new document I can
import picture and enhance them using the "correct" picture toolbar.
However, I prefer to save documents using the Word 97-203 ...

I have reinstalled Office and I still cannot view inserted images in Word.  I
can insert images in PowerPoint.

In MS Word 2003, when I crop various images in a file (to remove the dark
margins that resulted when I scanned pages of books), the size of the file
increases, though logically it should decrease.  Any MS image file experts
out there who could explain this bizarre behavior?

In Word 2007 beta the toolbar at the top of the screen is too messy. For
example the style icons at home are too big. But the biggist frustration is
the miss of the file, view, tools at the top of the screen. I think that it's
better that people can choose betwwen the new and old ...

For some reason, my header (which contains a jpeg image logo) disappears when
I'm in print-preview and appears when in print layout view. It sometimes
prints and sometimes doesn't. I've checked all the layout paramaters and I'm
within the page margins. I can select the image, and ...

I can set an inline picture datatype as e.g. jpeg, metafile, ,etc
but how can i read existing picture type:

I have started going through the book "Microsoft Office Specialist Study
Guide
Office 2003 Edition" and have come across a bit I can not get to work as the
book states, page 32. That is to change the colour of the connecting lines

Well, the major idea is in the subject. I want to change all of the pictures
in an MS word document to 1 size while keeping the ratio locked. Anything,
anything anything will help because I'm pasting a large number of pictures
into documents and I hate resizing one by one.
