It seems that the powers-that-be have decided to remove the ability to crop drawing objects in Word 2007. You can still crop images, such as Gif, jpg's, etc. but it will no longer crop metafiles, such as EMFs, or any pasted/linked vector file.

I'm trying to insert a picture from my scanner into Word. I'm using my scanner's WIA driver. If I scan in color the image appears in word fine. However, if I scan in grayscale or black and white, the scanner scans and there is no error, but the image never appears.

In the past I could do this - the clipart image, when clicked, was surrounded by white resizing dots, and could be moved, when clicked by the 4 headed arrow. Now, the image, when clicked, is black bordered with black resizing dots, and no 4 headed arrow, only up, down, sideways, ...

How do you move the order of the boxes in the Word 2003 organisation chart? In Word 2000 with Org chart v2 you simply dragged the boxes and they moved. Doesn't seem to work the same way. Cheers, Rob.
