I just wonder why there is no PDF import filter within Word. Microsoft obviously is not interested into it. But why is there no third party filter available. Is there not enough demand or are some legal arguments against it?

I can't find word art. I have looked everywhere on my word processor. I use it at work all the time on some older pc's. So i know where it should be. can I dl it from somewhere? I am running on windows xp. thxs in advance

If this is a 2nd post of same question, I apologize in advance. Something weird happened when I tried to post my original issue. I cannot get pictures to display OR print in a W97 document. A pdf version of the file also will not display pictures.

I keep seeing embedded objects and text and I cannt revert to original display. I dont want to see it, I know how to change them, but I would like not to have to convert them.

In Word, when moving a graphic a small increment, it instead jumps a much larger distance. Sometimes not even in the same direction - i.e. using the up arrow to nudge instead results in the graphic moving further down the page. Have turned grid off, even set it to minimum ...

I'm trying to write quite a lengthy document which involves a fair few figures with captions. I only want one figure per page, and that figure will sit at the top of the page with the caption underneath. I want the figure and caption to stay put, and for text to flow around them.
