I work with MS Word and images a lot. I have usually copied and pasted images into Word (even images I have saved in a file). However, a thought came across my mind today: Is there a difference if I perform a copy/paste of an image or if I use the "insert picture"

I have used Word's built in drawing tool, equation tool and as I scroll through the document it takes a long time to refresh the drawings and equations. Sometimes I have to klick on the drawing to refresh it, but even then it does not always work.

Using Word 2000, I often create guidelines on topics and use screenshots (PrintScreen) and call-outs (with text of course) added after I paste the screenshot into a document. In the past, the call-outs always appear in print layout and displayed in printouts as expected.

When I insert any image or the net, or wordart, it dissapears and won't show up? I have done all of the office updates, and they do not seem to help. Any ideas?

I have it formatted for a fade effect with black and white, it looks that way in word, but when I print it, it prints with a blue and white fade effect instead of black and white. How do I change it to print the way I have it formatted and why does it do this?

I can draw lines and boxes. They appear on the screen but not in print preview, nor do they print. If I e-mail the document to a neighbor, lines & boxes appear in preview and print. Thoughts?
