When I insert a graphic, it is there. I then format the picture so I can move
it around, but when I click on OK after formatting, it goes into Print Layout
View and gets VERY SMALL.  That is the entire page gets small not just the

I want to create a flowchart, and then open it on the web. I want to use
various effects such as shading and background colour for the shapes.

I work with MS Word and images a lot. I have usually copied and pasted
images into Word (even images I have saved in a file).
However, a thought came across my mind today: Is there a difference if
I perform a copy/paste of an image or if I use the "insert picture"

In pre-2007 versions of Word, I was able to draw a text box on a picture,
format the text box to exclude fill and outline, and group them so that text
stayed with that photo. Contrary to most advice, my pictures were always
Square layout, and not inline with text, so I could ...

I have used Word's built in drawing tool, equation tool and as I scroll
through the document it takes a long time to refresh the drawings and
equations.  Sometimes I have to klick on the drawing to refresh it, but even
then it does not always work.

Using Word 2002 - when I use Insert, picture from file, I always have to
change the picture format layout to square. Is there a way to set this as
the default format?

I have a document in word total of 42 pages (book fold page setup). I need to
insert 4 different photos as watermarks in page 1, 6, 35 and 39.

I applied the bullet style on a paragraph. I modify the bullet putting a
picture instead of a symbol. When I click on the picture button, the Picture
Bullet dialog shows. I clicked at the Import button and I saw many
extensions, like gif, wav, mp3, avi...

Using Word 2000, I often create guidelines on topics and use screenshots
(PrintScreen) and call-outs (with text of course) added after I paste the
screenshot into a document. In the past, the call-outs always appear in print
layout and displayed in printouts as expected.  

When I insert any image or the net, or wordart, it dissapears and won't show
up? I have done all of the office updates, and they do not seem to help.
Any ideas?

I have it formatted for a fade effect with black and white, it looks that way
in word, but when I print it, it prints with a blue and white fade effect
instead of black and white.  How do I change it to print the way I have it
formatted and why does it do this?

I can draw lines and boxes.  They appear on the screen but not in print
preview, nor do they print.  If I e-mail the document to a neighbor, lines &
boxes appear in preview and print.  Thoughts?
