is there a way i can do somthing like write with the mouse all the letters of
the alphabet and use that as a font

I am wondering if there is a way to black out text from a print screen that
was pasted into Word.  I found that I can draw a rectangle to cover the text
then fill it with black color, but it doesn't always line up with the text.  
Is there a way that works better?

Is there a way to tweak the fill-effects, in other words vary the width of
the shading between colors or the width of a given color.  Similar to how the
"presets" are done.  Or is there a away to create my own "presets"?

The idea was to import maps from the net and draw over them using Word
