In the older Word versions, I would select "Picture/Insert/Paste," select all objects I wanted to bring in, and they would drop into my Word file great (however, the last picture would come in first and I would just cut it out and paste it at the end).

I created a document in an ealier version of Word into which I added several .gif images. When I open the document in Word 2007, the images show up as a black box. Anybody know of any image conversion problems?

I can't see some pictures (bmp, jpg) in Word 2003 documents though they appear OK in Print Preview. Any idead ?

I set up a one-cell table in Word 2003; 8 cm exact height, 8 cm preferred width, unchecked the Options | Resize to fit contents. I then tried to insert a photograph into the cell but the whole thing resized. How do I prevent this, please.

I am trying to insert a picture of the size 2527 by 910 pixels in a MS Word document (version Office 2007). The image can be inserted successfully. but on the document, the image is resized to a smaller size. The view of the document is 'web layout'.
