When I add a background or want to put an autoshape that goes from edge to edge in word it looks fine on the screen, but in print view and when printed there is a white edge. How do I eliminate that?

When inserting a single page PDF in Word 2007 with Insert, Object, Create from file and "Display as Icon" is *not* checked. But I keep getting an Icon rather than an image. Same files work fine on another PC with same configuration... Anyone have any ideas as to why this would ...

I'm using Word 2003 and when I copy eg a table from excel and past special as a bitmap into Word - it copies OK but does not display on the page in Print Layout, Web Layout or Normal layout. It's just a blank box. It's only when I print preview that I can see it.

I have used the 'print screen' button on many occasions to capture screen shots. Often I have captured multiple shots, pasting to a word document before capturing another. This has allowed me to create an image of my using messenger and webcam with my family at home in the UK.
