When I add a background or want to put an autoshape that goes from edge to
edge in word it looks fine on the screen, but in print view and when printed
there is a white edge.  How do I eliminate that?

I am using Word 2007.
When I create two text boxes, only the first text box can be selected
indepedently. Clicking on the second text box (only) will cause both text
boxes to be selected. I tried pressing shift-click, ctrl-click, alt-click on

I am using C# and Word Interop to insert a chart into a Word document.  Most
of the time it works fine, but at odd intervals it will just not work. I
create the chart using C#, which always works, and save it into Windows

When inserting a single page PDF in Word 2007 with Insert, Object, Create
from file and "Display as Icon" is *not* checked.  But I keep getting an Icon
rather than an image.  Same files work fine on another PC with same

I'm trying to print a 10cm by 20cm rectangle but it prints out somewhat
smaller. It needs to be exactley 10 x 20 for maths project.

I'm using Word 2003 and when I copy eg a table from excel and past special
as a bitmap into Word - it copies OK but does not display on the page in
Print Layout, Web Layout or Normal layout.  It's just a blank box.
It's only when I print preview that I can see it.

So I have imported a clip art picture into Word, and then I right click it

When I try to connect objects within my flowchart using connector lines, it
works on some objects, but not on others.  When it doesn't work, I get kicked
out of Print View and placed into Web View and I can no longer see my

I have used the 'print screen' button on many occasions to capture screen
shots.  Often I have captured multiple shots, pasting to a word document
before capturing another.  This has allowed me to create an image of my using
messenger and webcam with my family at home in the UK.

I have a picture that I have placed in a document in Word 2000.  I would like
to rotate it about 45 degrees or so but it won't let me rotate it like a
