If I want to insert *all* the text from another .doc file into a Word
2002/XP document, is there a better way than using Insert/File?  Is
there a way, using fields, that is more compatible with earlier
versions of Word?

cut & paste hatchet job, few of the hyperlinks work.  I'd like to remove

I have a form to which I have attached a mail merge.  
When I merge to a new document, the formatting is not
intact - the lines wrap and I cannot figure a way to
insert the information without experiencing this problem.

Word has the annoying habit of having footnotes run onto
the next page and just putting the text of a footnote on
another page.  Is there an easy way to keep the text of a
footnote on the same page as the reference to the footnote?

Can you change the color of your edits to keep your old
colors, but for additional edits you want to have Track
Changes display and be able to print them in different
