OK. Guys I have a question regarding MS-Word and

I'm having trouble printing a document. What I'm attempting to do is print a
5.5x8.5 inch bifold brochure. I have 12 pages total in my document. I have
the page setup so that my paper size is 8.5x11, landscapre, two pages per
sheet. All looks well on the screen.

I am using Word 2002  and have a 57 page document with a TOC.  My problem is
from TOC5 to TOC8 the automatic update was turned on so I have turned that
off and set up the appropriate tabs, however, when I save it, close it and
reopen the doc the TOCs resort back to automatic update ...

What can be done about footnotes that move themselves to
the next page? In my document there are sometimes a half
page of notes ,sometimes none. In the case of say three
notes Word will sometimes insist that one move by itself
