I am trying to email a word document to someone using a
font which they do not have installed on their PC.  When
they open it all the formatting is lost.  Is there a way
around this other than getting them to install the font

After my computer crashed and Gateway installed Windows 98
Second Edition, I found that my Microsoft Windows 97 no
longer had two fonts that I needed:  Script Mt Bold and

When I am double spacing between paragraphs, is there a
way to have Word hide the extra blank line if it falls at
the top of a page?  Is there a way to prevent it from

I've been using the Office 2003 beta (latest rev) and am
seeing something strange with Word, but only on one
machine. When I highlight a block of text and hit the
delete key, I get a message in the lower-left corner of

Bear with me, I am going to try to explain something that I don't use myself
so I may be way off.
My boss uses bullets at paragraphs, He presses CTRL-7 to place a bullet and
he tells me that Word used to use the same bullet when he hit a CR without

I am writing my PhD thesis and have written different
chapters as separate documents. I am now experiencing
great difficulty is to combine the documents and get a
consistent numbering.

Ah, one of the more obnoxious aspects of Word 2002, and
one of the many "features" totally not covered in Help.  
(when is Microsoft going to offer us comprehensive Help
files for this version of Word?)

would like to place a "Blank page" paragraph centered horizontally and
verticallly on blank pages.

I have a document that is outlined. The top levels are
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. The second levels of the first
chapter are 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. This is okay. However,  
in all the subsequent chapters the chapter number in the

When selecting text in word with the mouse, the
acceleration increases dramatically as you scroll down th
epage which causes you to overshoot the end of your
selection.
