There are a couple of defaults I would like to know how
to change, if possible.
When I paste something in to the document I am working on

I am working on a table and there is a paragraph mark
separating two rows.  I have tried to delete it to no
avail.  I have checked to see that it wasn't considered a

Sections 1 and 2 of my document are portrait and
landscape, respectively, but Word (page setup) wont let me

I have a problem with field codes and printing:
When I insert a page number, for instance, in a word document, I do
see the numbers (1 for page 1, 2 for page2, etc) but when I go in

years:  macros, styles, autotexts, etc.  But I've heard that it's not
safe to put everything into normal.dot, in case of corruption.
So, is the solution as simple as just copying and renaming normal.dot
