I have been having problems trying to insert footers that
are numbered as A-1, A-2, A-3, etc.  Then the next
section we would number as F-1, F-2, F-3, etc.  If I can
get the numbering to work in the footnotes, I would then

Often I have a problem of having footnotes appearing on
different pages to the text that points to them. Most
often, a footnote will appear on the following page,
especially in a long document. I have tried deleting

a "format painter" or something similar in an earlier
version of Word.  With this tool you can copy a format of
a selected set of characters and paste this format onto

I am working on a large document that had multiple authors and am left with
