I'm trying to change a style's name or font size
with 'modify', but when I 'save', it doesn't change the
text or save the changes in the style.

Looking for a template for a technical report I need to produce.
Need Abstract, Summary, findings/methodolgy, Conclusions sections
with indexing, tbl of contents etc.
Does anyone have one to share?

This is a basic question - but when I have a specific font

I am using word 2003 in which I am auto numbering certain
figures or tables inside the word document.
So if i insert a new figure/table at any place, the Word

size, but one of them takes almost a minute to open and
repageinate while the others are just a second or two.

I have a long document created by merging various smaller documents.
Each of these smaller documents had their own headers and footers.
Now after I merge them, word is only taking the header and footer of the
first document and applying the same to all the documents that were copied

title.  I want to place that chapter number and title in

footnotes to.  for example, i have one footnote that
says "see footnote number 35" but later that will be a
different footnote number.

The "reviewing pane" icon on "reviewing" tool bar
