I want to create a master document with individual documents (sub documents)
without using the outline option.  Having problems with "Outline" and insert
sub document.

I have a user working in Word 2000.  He is trying to apply
Outline Numbering. It works until he saves and exits the
document.  When he re-opens the document, the Outline
Numbering has changed to a different format.
