Trying to create a multi-level bulleted list isn't working in Word 2002. When I tab in to get the next level, the bullet doesn't appear. I believe there is a setting for this somewhere but I can't remember where it is !

I am transcribing a long book with many, many lengthy footnotes. The author is going to put many of these footnotes back into the text but I know there will still be enough to go around. What I'm wondering is if there is a way to force the footnotes to remain together on one page ...
