when I do a compare documents for large documents, it
seems to start ok for the first few pages but then all the
rest of the document appears highlighted as if changed but
its not...? any ideas?

I'm trying to edit an 1.2 MB 150-page document, with only
1 picture, in MS Word 2002 on a 1200+ Mhz machine with
1GB of memory. Working in Print Layout view is almost impossible,

I seem to be having trouble hyperlinking from within a footnote. For
example, I might want a "For further information go here" type footnote --
to send the person to another part of the document. Works fine for external
http addresses, but clunks to the top of the document for ...

Is there any shortcut to goto specific style. If I want to
go to page 10 I'll go to GOTO option and in page option
I'll type 10 and on pressing enter my cursor will take me
to page 10. Anything like that for goto style.

Has anyone tried to get hidden text to appear in their
TOC or Table of Figures?  If so, how did you accomplish
it.  Whenever I try the hidden text is idnored.

I have a document which I formatted now, I have 4-5 other

format, styles etc. In word 2000 is there any way to auto
format these files with formatted file.
