I've scanned (OCRed) a document into electronic format and saved it as a Word document. The problem I'm having is that the original document was only 10cm (4") in width and that is now the width of the document in Word. I'd like to use the entire width of the A4 (approx 21cm) page ...

I've been to the mvp site for Word, and I even found the page that deals with what I'm having trouble with. Problem is, I don't have a clue what it all means, nor how to use the info.

I have create a few custom properties, and now would like to use them as fields in my document. But I cannot see the in the field drop down menu. Firstly can I do this, and how?

i have a 500 page document, and somewhere in the middle, 3 extra blank pages got inserted. i can't delete these blank pages...any suggestions?? please email me direct at alockshin@houston.rr.com

I have a lot of documents with numbered lists where I now need to insert extra lines. When I do so, the new lines also have numbering. Is there ANY way to prevent this?!? Thanks!

I am trying to send a Word 2002 document (4 pages, with clip art & text boxes), but when the recipient opens the document, all the formatting is gone & the text boxes are in different locations. Any suggestions on the problem?

In some cases, I would just have all the text covered by one style be switched over to another style. I have about 100 pages in the book so far, so I don't want to run a risk of goofing up the whole thing. I reviewed the help and it is not clear how this would be done.

Is there a way to change the header text to be in black instead of gray? I tried selecting the text in the header box and changing the font color, but it still shows the gray color like the watermark.

If I have a document with pages to fill out, is there a way I can print the document for the whole month and have word automatically change the date in the header. Example: month of June, I will print 30 pages all at once

We share documents in our production work. These documents go to clients for reveiw and come back to us. We have a customized template, but so far, for style we simply use Normal, with a corporate standard of Arial, 11 pt. I'm about to make a pitch for creating a "template_normal" ...
