I've inserted a subdocument in a master doc and now
whenever I open the master, the subdoc appears only as a
link.  I have to change to the outline view and expand it
to display the content of the subdoc.

will go to the "style" option in the menu bar and change
the style, but when I go back, the change I "requested"
was not retained.  (Style change from math to text, it

I could view full footnotes (19 of them altogether) in office word
2000 but when I view the same file in word 2002 or word xp, some
footnotes disappeared though the number is still there

When I insert a cross reference into a document, when I
update the references Word seems to put in a page break
after the cross reference.  Does anyone know a solution

In using Word 2002, I inserted a TOC but it's not
appearing, however Word does ask me if I want to replace
the existing table (there is none).  I have a Table of
Figures & Tables & made sure there was a paragraph mark
