I am using custom templates with many bulleted and
numbered lists.  These styles lose their formatting often
and when I try to copy the styles to or from another
template to make corrections, the styles will not copy

We are in a legal environment in which a secretary edits
documents on behalf of several attorneys. If track
changes is involved and the secretary does the edits, her
User Info gets put in rather than the attorneys. She can

Hi, I have a table that extends onto 3 pages. The 3rd page
has only the header row (repeating) and 1 row.
The header is at the top of the page. But the single row
is in the middle of the page. That is, separated by a

Can anyone tell me how to make the TOC so that the
headings don't end up at the bottom of the page and the
sub-headings start on the next page?  I don't want them to

documents to skip the first few pages which are usually
index pages and start on the 3rd or 4th page.

I am trying to put page numbers on a long document. The
first two pages are an index so I want the page numbers
to start on the third page but start with the page one. I

The documents I create are heavy in graphics (about 2 per
page) and heavy in cross references (1 or 2 per page). The
graphics are linked, not embedded. Most of these never
exceed 60 to 80 pages.

I have a document in which I want to put captions under figures.
This document has a main body with chapters whose notation is in
numbers: (chapter 1, chapter 2, etc)

I want to set the page number outside of the regular
margins for the book I'm doing.  Every time I increase the
margin in the header, it bumps the margin for the whole
book.  Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm in the process of working on exams that currently have
two booklets.  One is a reader and the other is a question
booklet.  The question booklet often refers the pupil to a
paragraph or lines on a particular PAGE of the reader.
