I'm trying to create a long document and need to be able
to choose different parenthetical boilerplate based on the
terms of the deal.  I tried using Master/Subdocs to do
this but when I print, all the links to the unused

I must have enabled some "feature" of in Word 2002 by accident.
When I change one word to "bold" the entire document goes bold.  So I select
"undo" and the entire document goes back to normal leaving that one word in bold.
The same behavior occurs for all other types of formatting ...

please, can anyone tell me how to "push" a footnote down so as it stays at
the level of the lower margin?

I'm creating a table that has three columns, the third
column of which I put values and add for a total.  That's
all fine.
But every so often within the table I have to put a

My style list has gotten increasingly cluttered with
things.  I now know how to prevent the changes, but is
there a way to simply get back to the "normal.dot" Word
came with without a complete re-installation?

Customer needs to know the frequency of each word in a
document and then use that to create an index that lists
the page number of the first occurence of the word.
