TOC Right aligned numbers problem25 Nov 2004 19:45 GMT1
Here's my doc's situation: I want all page numbers to align to the right.
Header 1 and Header 2 are used to build the contents of the TOC.
In the TOC, the page numbers are not aligned perfectly on the right. I think
the reason is that the font used for Heading 1 has character ...

Rash of corrupted documents24 Nov 2004 17:16 GMT5
We are using Word 2003 SP1 and Windoze XP Pro SP2.  Several members of my
group have had corrupted documents recently on their own computers and
installations of Word, so this could be a bug in Word although the documents
are often shared among the several computers.
Tips for justifying long document text - Word 200023 Nov 2004 13:27 GMT5
I am finishing a long book (230+ pages) and the client wants this justified.
I have turned on hyphenation (1.3cm zone - max of 2 per para), selected the
option of using Wordperfect full justification, and allowed at least 14pt line
spacing for an 11pt true type body font (Georgia) ...
how to handle large document organization22 Nov 2004 15:23 GMT7
We're converting from wp to Word 2002.
We decided, because of what we read, not to make use of Word's master

and outline view.
Outline Format - Indent From Roman Numeral22 Nov 2004 06:02 GMT3
I've been fighting this "problem" for at least five years. I've never
investigated it because I don't use the outline format very often and seldom

I've taken a blank page, clicked the outline button at ...

How can I get Word (2003) to give a completely blank template on startup?  I

clear of all formatting.
Outline levels not showing but normal styles and tables are19 Nov 2004 22:18 GMT1
I am editing a document in Word 2002.  When I switch from normal or print
view to outline view, the document is not showing many of my level 1-2
headings, but is showing a lot of the normal styles and tables.  When I
click "show level" and designate level 1 or 2, nothing changes. ...
Spacing & paragraphs of same style: different behavior on different computers19 Nov 2004 16:38 GMT13
I frequently send documents to many users on my network.  These
documents use paragraph styles with spacing after the paragraph but
with "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style" checked.
This setting works properly on my computer and about half the others,
Optical Mark Recognition19 Nov 2004 06:47 GMT1
Here’s my dilemma.  How can I create optical marks in Word?  I’m generating a
mail merge document within Word that produces different amounts of multiple
pages.  For example, an individual’s final output may be 5 pgs, while another
may contain 9pgs and so forth.  That’s ok.  I’d ...
