I have just moved a text document to word.  It is 94 pages.  But it is
formatted like it was in Text.  I would like the sentences to extend to the
edge of the margins on the pages.  That alone would reduce the page numbers
by about half.

I have a problem with the positioning of images in a long doc. I have put an
image in line at the end of a page, and the blank left in the page is
smaller than what the image needs, so Word positions the image automatically

and using a dot leader that goes over to the page numbers.  My problem is
that I don't want the dot leaders to go right up to the page numbers.

I have just spent a very frustrating day trying to make Arial Unicode MS
work properly.
I have a doc of 871 pages, with lots of linguistic examples from languages
that require special characters. I am supposed to submit this doc to a

Would anyone know of a way to stop Word 2002 from tracking the formatting in
the Styles and Formatting pane; not just hiding it (via Tools -> Options ->
Edit tab -> "Keep track of formatting"), but stopping it ??

I have a complex template I've been developing for several months.  Recently
I noticed it shrank in size from 427k to about 319k between sucessive
versions.
Since I don't recall any deletions, and since I've been testing each new
