I'm running XP Pro, and Word 2002.
My publisher needs me to convert my field results to hard text. Isn't there
a macro that does this? (I don't mean just F9 switching between viewing the
field and viewing the result -- I need to eliminate all the fields,

One of our users is having trouble with automatic numbering.
They work in the legal team and have to pass documents within and outside of
the company with track changes turned on. These documents are fairly large
in size and number is used.

I am doing a mail merge from an Excel document.  The
field in the document is an hourly salary amount, so it
is formatted as a number with 2 decimals.  When I set up

it was a good ideea to set Word2000 compatiblity! That solved more
problems than I have seen. (I did not see this feature!).

sometimes the boundary lines move to where you want it to;
