I'm doing my boss a favor by putting together her husbands book for
publishing, but I've never done this before and I'm frustrated.
What it is I need to do is create his files (chapters) in a masterdocument
for consecutive page numbering, but have each chapters endnotes appear at

I've got a document that's gotten way out of hand. I'm spending more time

Hi, I have been working with MS Word for a while; but recently, I got this
"troublesome issue": My keyboard is prefect, nevertheless I cannot delete
selected text using the backspace key as before, I reinstalled MSO, did look
at MSO help but nothing happened.

Using Word 200, XP, when I insert Page break as New page,
it insists on being a Continuous Break. I checked the
Header/Footer under Section start NEW. I even cleared the
formatting where I'm inserting this Break but it still

I assume that this has been documented long time ago.
What is your recommendation?
It takes almost 30 seconds to convert to "print review mode", so I
loose a lot of time of converting between the different modes.

I want to start organizing myself with word.
During the day I use multiple templates for doing my work.
I have more than 1 template for long documents (depending with whom I
work), I have other templates for short letters.

I've got a long document with 17 different sections.  I have separated
the sections by using Insert > Break > Next Page.  I want the header
of each section to be different.  I seem to be able to get about 3
different headers.  After that, I can't add any more headers.

I have a table with 5 columns and the header of this table is being populatd
in all the sheets, happen that at some point I was working and I suddenly
first page went blank only with the header, and I have not been able to fix

Using Word 2002.  Not all the styles from my normal.dot
listed in the Organizer.  For example, Closing and the
List Numbers styles are missing.

When I open Word files, the headers and footers suddently stopped

    Has anybody figured out how to do legal citation in an easier
way?  I'm referring specifically to the comma following a case name --
it should not be underlined or italicized.  Same goes for commas
following Id. and e.g.
