Our client has asked that the name of the document and some other
information be included in the footer on every page.  Unfortunately, this

available disk space.)
I have printed many large and long documents before, sometimes 10 Mb in size
when photographs are included.

Using Word XP, Win XP, I copied text from Notepad but it
keeps coming over as condensed text. I stripped all
formatting, applied my formatting and it still is jumbled
up. I made sure Condensed text was not checked as well.

Using Word XP/Win XP and I'd like my toolbar to always
look the same every time I start a new document. Do I
change Normal.dot and if so, how?

I don't even know what to call this problem. I think originally I started
typing a couple of hyphens and then hit enter, this produced a line at the
bottom of the page, a broken line that now won't go away. I attempted to

My document is only updating as even numbered figures for a given section.  
E.g. section two of my document is a list of figures, 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.  When
I update this stays the same.  Has anyone else seen this?  Can I fix it
without re-inserting all of my captions?

I would like to create a fields in word that automatically fill from data
located in other areas of the document. These other areas would act as a
resources for like infomation that is repeated through out the document. In
example, If I type the title of x widget on the coverpage ...

I have somehow changed my settings accidently.  All of my Word files have
converted to .doc files.  How can I change them back to normal Word files w/o
the .doc on the end ?
