I have a document formatted as a bookfold on legal paper, landscaped. Once printed, I can chop the sheets in half, and have a manual that is 8.5" tall by 7" wide. Somewhere in the middle of printing my fourth one, the printer stopped.

I get this error when using Word 2003 to open files saved in Word 2000. Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions. * Check the file permissions for the document or drive.

I have created a template (.dot) with the page layout: 210,00 mm width and 120,00 height (Portrait). Is there any easy way to change the Page length for a given page in a document or do I have to use Section breaks?

I'm using Word 2000. Suddenly, whenever I press Control+B to apply direct formatting, I get a heading style -- sometimes heading 2, 4, or 6. The bolded text then shows up in the document map. I do not want to apply a style.

I have seen the FAQ on Indexing by Word on the MVP site saying that Word cannot automatically generate and index. But, as stated in the web page, this was for Word 2002. Since word has been updated since that time, has indexing support improved?

I have tried several Word 2 PDF converters, including Adobe's 'Print PDF' print driver and I can't get the hyperlinks for, say the Table of Contents, to work in the resultant PDF file. I have Acrobat 6 at my disposal but that requires an intermediate step:
