I have about 20 Word97 docs of 1-12 pages each. They all have the same look & feel, but this has been achieved by manual formatting. I want to get all 20 documents to share a common set of formatting directives of some kind.

Here is my problem: I have an Access table with 2 columns: a keyword and a memo. From this table I want to create a Word document - this is no brainer, I know how to do it. Now the difficult part - I want to create an index table from the keyword columns (or table of containts).

I'm trying to create a header with text that is centered, but I want the page number to the extreme left. Using spaces seems kind of crude, because when the page number gets to 10 and 100, it's no longer consistent. I tried using a text box (beause it "floats") but it puts

When I combined 5 docs, all made from the same normal template, in the same style, using only Header 1, Header 3, Normal and Caption, some of my tables switch into Caption font which is messing all the layout up. Most bizarrely, when I select the table or even the raw table ...

A coworker has created a document that she has been tracking changes with as she's sent it back and forth. Now that she wants to send it out to the staff she can't get the document to not show the balloons that show the revisions off to the side.

I probably should have sorted this out first, but I have about 5 twenty page documents that I need to link together. I am OK to do that and can F9 to update all my cross refs etc, and have styles set up OK for TOC to work properly
